The Angel of Hope Memorial Garden celebrates the lives of children that have passed away and serves as a place of reflection for their loved ones. This garden is part of several like gardens across the United States all centered on the statue of an angel. The concept for the garden arose from the book The Christmas Box by author Richard Paul Evans where a mother mourns for the loss of her child at the feet of an angelic statue.
DeMoney-Grimes started raising funds in 2001 to commission this garden by organizing the Walk-to-Remember. The memorial park was dedicated several years later.
